Now I admit, this was really an awesome event ...... I will be sharing bits & pieces about this. It is definitely an experience for everyone to gain! Discovering books, authors, people, and lots of discussions! Oh, and don't forget that there was plenty of wine & chocalate to taste.

How great it was to walk in Sunday a.m. in a mad rush and someone with a smile walked up to me and offered me a piece to chocolate to enjoy; this made me feel good and relax as I found my way to my favorite literary salon!!

You just never know where you might bump into well known people. I caught this short extract from Shelf Awareness the other day. Book stores seem to be the place to be these days! This is the Heart of America in Missouri!

Vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden paid a surprise visit to By the Book bookstore, Liberty, Mo., yesterday. The Kansas City Star reported that owner Chris Todd "got about three minutes warning before Biden showed, and was thrilled with the visit."In the shop, Biden met with local merchants. "He acted like he would have stayed in there the whole afternoon if he could have," said Todd. "People asked him about health care and tax cuts. I was impressed. He answered in real specifics."
